Established in 2018 by Charlie Cooke and Ashley Charman, Cooke & Charman is built on 30 years of experience in the construction industry, bringing together specialist trades in construction and carpentry, electrical and plumbing.

Our multidisciplinary team undertakes a wide range of building and renovation projects for homes and commercial properties in Sussex and Surrey. With our friendly approach, we work closely with clients to bring plans and ideas to life.
NEW BUILDS
With a complete team of trades overseen by Charlie and Ashley, we’re able to work closely with our clients, their architects and local planning authorities to turn plans into a reality that lives up to our exacting standards, as well as those of our client.
ELECTRICS & CCTV
With a team of experienced in-house electricians, we’re able to undertake a wide range of electrical installations in homes, workplaces and commercial premises across Sussex & Surrey including security camera systems and EV charge points.
CARPENTRY
From bespoke TV media walls and cabinets, to complete kitchen installations, we offer a complete range of carpentry and joinery services across Sussex and Surrey.
Plumbing, Heating & Bathrooms
We offer a wide range of plumbing and heating services, including fully managed bathroom renovations, all overseen by our experienced director Ashley.
EV installations
We are OZEV certified installers and can supply and fit electrical charge points for electric vehicles in private, public and commercial spaces across Sussex and Surrey.
Kitchens
Working in partnership with our sister company Charles Ashley Kitchens, we’re able to offer a fully inclusive kitchen renovation service, including a free kitchen design service, expertly installed by our in-house team.
SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATIONS
We can create customised installations to suit your individual needs and requirements both for home and work across Sussex and Surrey.
